What we often forget, however, is that it’s not always our fault! Our socks alone can play a big role in unpleasant odors in our sneakers.

1. Find The Right Shoes
A pair of comfortable and BREATHABLE sneakers go a long way in preventing sweaty, smelly feet.
2. Wash Them
You’ve found a pair that lets you breathe, but now what? Many sneakers are washable. Washing the insoles of your sneakers can kill off any bacteria and significantly reduce smell.
3. Keep It Moving
Keep a rotation going. Try switching out with different sneakers, especially if you work out regularly (can’t relate.) Wearing the same sneakers everyday keeps them from drying and only adds to the smell!
4. Find The Right Socks
Not all socks are created equal. Make sure you are paying attention to the material your socks are made of to see what fabrics cause more odor for you.
5. Address the Root of the Problem!
